TORONTO INTERNATIONAL CUP (TIC)

The TIC, formerly known as the Biosteel Canada Cup, was developed to push competitive youth soccer to another level in Canada.   The TIC serves to be the annual cornerstone tournament in Canada, providing Canadians a local event with the right level of competition and professionalism right here at home!  The TIC was co-founded by Canadian soccer legend Dwayne De Rosario (Dero) who also acts as the tournament ambassador, bringing this tournament another level of excitement!  Dero’s professional experience inspires all and his desire to constantly push players in Canada to succeed in soccer transpires into a world class competitive experience in the TIC!

The DeRo Foundation is a proud partner of the TIC. The DeRo Foundation was established in 2014 by Dwayne De Rosario – MLSE Ambassador, Pan Am Games Ambassador and Motivational Speaker.  The mission of the Foundation is to support local community initiatives which use soccer as a platform to help youth in high priority neighbourhoods develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed. Each individual associated with the Foundation is committed to helping youth achieve their maximum potential on and off the pitch – through providing mentorship and developmental tools in the area of education, leadership, self-confidence and health and nutrition.
